In the seventies, a music explosion was taking place around the world and in Hawai‘i. Hawaiian music was coming back with a vengeance and it was at this time, Analu Aina became part of the musical scene.
Steadily climbing the musical ladder, Analu became known as a superb vocalist, bass guitar and ‘ukulele player.
In 1993 a phone call came that forever changed his life. It was a call from Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, “Brudda Iz.” Analu was invited to be a vocalist and bassist for the band; an incredible dream for Analu and one he had been waiting for all of his life. Without hesitation he enthusiastically accepted the offer.
Analu Aina continues to sing and play his music and still helps many musicians with their recordings while remaining part of the famed group Eddie Kamae & the Sons of Hawai‘i.
